Anchors and Gems

At Rhema Scotland Gems and Anchors we believe a child, no matter the age or background is

- Important to the Father God:

‘But He said, Leave the children alone! Allow the little ones to come to Me, and do not forbid or restrain or hinder them, for of such [as these] is the kingdom of heaven composed.'

Matthew 19:14

- Loved and cherished by the Father:

‘Beware that you do not despise or feel scornful toward or think little of one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always are in the presence of and look upon the face of My Father Who is in heaven.'

Matthew 18:10

Teacher Reading To Group of Children

Gems and Anchors service, a safe place for nurturing and training where children are taught God’s Word through songs, examples, worship, games, role play, fun activities, art and crafts at their level of comprehension because the Word assures us:

‘All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. '

Isaiah 54:13

The aim of Gems and Anchors services is train children to

  • Know, recognise and be assured of the love of the Heavenly Father
  • Learn and use the Word in everyday life setting
  • Hear the voice of the Spirit of God and follow His leading,
  • Be the light of Jesus wherever they are
  • Exercise the authority they have in Jesus

In other words, ‘be who Jesus says they are in Him’:

‘And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.'

 Luke 2:40’

Likewise our children continue to grow, become strong in spirit, filled with God’s wisdom and God’s grace is upon them as they become who God created them to be.

Our latest song says it all

I am a child of God, I know where I come from

A child of God, I know where I belong

A child of God, I know where I am going

For I am a child of God
