Prayer n Fast - Spirit, Soul & Body Conference 2026

Rhema ScotlandDecember 18, 2025
Holy Bible

The Spirit, Soul & Body Conference is being held in January 2026 as part of our annual Prayer n Fast. This conference aims to see the believer, living out of their spirit, strengthening their soul and walking in good health.

The theme scripture for the conference is 1st Corinthians 6:19 'Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

The Prayer n Fast and conference runs from Thursday 08th January to Saturday 10th January 2026.

Meeting/Prayer Schedule:
Thursday 08th January 2026
7.30pm: Rhema Church, Kirkcaldy & Online

Friday 09th January 2026
7.30pm: Rhema Church, Edinburgh & Online

Saturday 10th January 2026
9.30am - 12.30pm: 'The Haven', Rhema Church, Kirkcaldy

The format, for the fast is as it has been in previous years, where you are encouraged to choose your own fast and to attend as many of the meetings (which include teaching) as possible.

It is always suggested that you choose your own fast, as different people have different situations where they may need to eat at certain times for health reasons and if you are on medications, or if you work a heavy manual job etc then you need to keep your energy and alertness levels up.

Fruit and VegetablesFast suggestions:

Full Fast – where you drink water only.

Fruit and Veg fast – you eat only fruit and veg, or have vegetable soup

During the fast you must remember to drink and stay hydrated - water is always good for this (hot or cold).

Glass of Water If this is your first fast, it is suggested that you do not  fast all your food, but to choose an individual thing and do that, such as: chocolate, tea or coffee, social media, tv or technology devices, basically anything that would be a sacrifice to give up for that period of time.
Again, if it is your first time fasting, and you are fasting your meals, then fasting one meal and eating two or fasting two meals and eating one are some other options.

By fasting you will be bringing your flesh into subjection, allowing your spirit man to arise and be superior in the three part being that you are. This of course will help you to be more sensitive to hearing God's voice, which brings the importance of the prayer times, personally throughout the day and the detailed church prayer sessions.

The church prayer sessions begin with a teaching and then the rest of the session is prayer. The time set aside for prayer is for personal vision for the year. More information on purpose will be given at the session should it differ from this. When you attend the prayer sessions, as you do with Church always bring your Bible/Bible app and maybe a notebook as you never know what God will speak to you about or what He may say to you through the teachings.

We hope you can join with us for this three days of fasting, prayer and health sessions, allowing God to give us vision and direction for the coming year of 2026.

Please contact the church office by email for further information.
